Homestuck

I'm recently just getting into Homestuck and i'm still on Act 1 and i have no idea what's currently happening while i'm reading this. It's really funny but i just want to know when does the actual plot start and if i should continue it. I want to cosplay Aradia (for a friend)but in order to do that i have to read Homestuck so i know what it's about and what my character is like.

Well the plot starts from the very beginning, it's just really slow until I believe the 2nd or 3rd act. There are definitely summaries online if you dont have time to read through the other acts (ha they get really long) but if youre interested in it I recommend you continue (though since it is often confusing summaries do help). I also believe there is a youtube channel that does readings of the acts, which might go faster? Though unfortunately for you Aradia is a troll so she doesn't physically show up until the later acts (I thought around act 4 or 5 the trolls showed up but it's been years since I read homestuck). I'd say if you want to cosplay her and you don't mind spoilers to read up on her wiki and look at summaries. However, I don't think anyone would mind too much if you didn't know much about her character. I guess though your best bet would to try to find information about Aradia's character traits while avoiding spoilers. That way if you decide to keep reading it won't be spoiled for you.
